Marius Oberberger
Marius Oberberger, Communication Manager at 49 Honorarberatung
I studied History and Political Science at LMU Munich, including semesters abroad in Tel Aviv and Montréal, and wrote my master's thesis on right-wing extremism in the 1970s. I first became acquainted with Neunundvierzig through an internship in 2023 and, since 2024, have supported the company as a working student in content development and web design.
Since May 2026, I have been working as Communications Manager, helping to shape the development of editorial content, external communications, and internal event formats.
In my spare time, I am involved in various associations, enjoy hiking, read books from a wide range of disciplines, and like to cook. In addition, I am active in political education and remembrance culture alongside my professional work.
What I bring to Neunundvierzig as a historian
To be honest, I would never have imagined myself working in the financial sector. Yet the holistic advisory approach and the open, innovative working environment constantly remind me that finance is not only about numbers, but also about people, their stories, and questions of values and purpose.
Having entered the profession from a different academic background, I am delighted to contribute my humanities perspective to advisory processes and communications, helping to enrich Neunundvierzig's holistic approach.
